Edge Case Audio Drama Script Submissions Open for 2020 Season

Greetings Writers,

I can’t believe it’s been one year since I asked for story submissions for season one of Edge Case Podcast Audio Drama. While season One production is almost complete and will start airing on September 10th, it’s already time to look ahead to 2020. We are once again opening up story submissions. Some of you who are Waaaaay too ambitious have already started sending stories so we thought we’d better get it opened up to everyone.  Edge Case is an audio drama podcast sci-fi/fantasy/horror/suspense anthology series in the tradition of The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, and Black Mirror.

Preference will be given to stories formatted as audio drama scripts.  (See this example, it ’doesn’t have to be exactly like this but something as easy to read and produce like this: https://downloads.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scripts/radious.pdf )

Stories should be 10,000 (20% tolerance +/-), we will also accept shorter or longer works, but that’s kind of the size we’re aiming for.

Please include a 1-2 sentence logline for your story.

Ensure that your name and an email address are somewhere on the document.

You must be the original creator of the story.

I will consider entrants whose work has been entered and published elsewhere, however, please ensure you state where and when on the document.

You will be allowed to place one call-to-action (Shameless Plug) for your own work at the end of the episode. Be sure to include this in your document.

Payment per accepted story is $5 to be paid on the 1st of the month following the publication of the completed episode (payment via Paypal). All rights remain with the author.

You can send stories to info@edgecasepod.com with “Edge Case Season 2” in the email subject. (You can also submit scripts with a link to a google docs document, all the other guidelines still apply)

If you have questions, you can also email them to us at info@edgecasepod.com.

We will officially cut off submissions for the 2020 season on December 1st, 2019.
